We provide consultancy to Architects right from the pre planning process through to final design which includes costings for the project.
Architects can provide us with brief designs for us to fully design (in 3D) with them for manufacture and installation.
Using materials such as stainless steel, aluminium, copper, meshes, patterned, steel, glass and plastics to name but a few.
Unique structures, internal features, canopies, balustrades, staircases (helical, spiral, contemporary), sculptures, mesh facades, in fact anything bespoke and with special finishes such as polyester powder coating.

We can under take turnkey projects direct for clients, the canopy shown is for Sir Norman's bar at the Sefton Hotel - Douglas - Isle of Man. We designed for the Theme of the bar "Peaked Cap" stainless steel structure, tensioned fabric and the lighting. Sir Norman Wisdom frequents the bar in the hotel and it is dedicated to him, he even gave us a hand see project sheet here (PDF). The project was completed via email drawings, then manufactured and installed by us "Right First Time".
We have since completed a helical staircase with joinery for a private client and an entrance canopy for Swagelocks International Headquarters on the island.
Reception desks, screens with glass and decorative panels, signage anything is possible here at Midas Technologies. Our only limitation is your imagination.

Working for the major construction companies such as Kier, ISG, BAM Nuttal, Miller, we provide staircases, balustrades, canopies, internal and external features, stainless steel mesh facades, our living walls™ system for foliage growing facades, entrance features, stainless steel window and door systems.

We have been working with clients such as Perkins Engines (Caterpillar) for 20 years providing design and fabrication services to supply bespoke equipment for engine development and testing. We have developed cardan shaft and dyno guards, flow visualisation rigs, mobile charge coolers, emissions testing equipment, mobile oils suction rigs, special purpose heat exchangers and exhaust extraction systems.

We have our own Micro CHP system called EPOD™ see www.energypod.co.uk
We are experts in sustainable water pressure management and leakage reduction see www.aquavent.net
We have developed products in the market and continue to do so, we are currently working with Solar Polar Ltd helping with the development of a solar fridge for storage of vaccines.

Design and supply of special purpose handling equipment, hoppers, vessels, conveyors, PLC controlled systems, process improvements.
We have been improving British Sugar's processing over the last 3 years improving their profitability and health and safety.

With our stringent Quality Assurance system we are able to provide high quality bespoke stainless steel products, process vessels, pressure vessels, hygienic pipe work (we have CNC orbital pipe welding systems). Working with Ransom Plc who are natural extract manufacturer, we have provided a dandelion coffee oven, 20 tonne bulk extract vessels with plc control panels, percolator vessels to name but a few projects.
We are always involved on Public and Commercial Art projects together with unique contemporary signage schemes.
We provide consultancy and design drawings for pre planning right through to manufacture and installation.
Projects include The Tunstall Shard near Stoke, at a retail park, Glass and Stainless Steel sign art for Kier Southern, Stainless Steel Sun Dial for BMW Loughton Essex, Glass and Stainless steel art piece for housing development with Telford Homes.
Water features also form part of our portfolio primarily working with The Fountain Workshop, projects include The O2 - water geysers, Copenhagen - Nykredit Plaza water jets and mirror pool, Peterborough City Council - Childrens Water Play Park.
Artists include Robert Erskine, Art Projects Management, Lucien Simon and Mel Chantrey.

We are experts in sustainable water pressure management and leakage reduction via our associate company Aquavent UK
see www.aquavent.net
Our Aquai-Mod® (Patent pending) PRV flow-pressure modulator is giving savings of up to 500,000 liters of water per day at sites across the UK. Download PDF product info sheet here We are also able to provide RPZ Valve certification under our WRAS Accreditation.
We manufacture fully certificated high security (LPS1175) reservoir access covers, sample points, water treatment fabrications and pipe work and bespoke items in stainless steel, aluminium and steel.

From concept to completion, working with you to take your ideas to reality.
Using the latest computer aided techniques essential to providing a cost
effective project. Our designs can be provided with, prototypes, mock ups,
type test approvals, structural engineering calculations and
Computational Air-Fluid Dynamic profiling. Our artistic flare and
engineering expertise compliment all sectors that we serve.

Project designs can be mocked up for approval.
Products can be proto-typed through to pre production and production.
Designs can be performance and structurally tested to meet specifications.
Full certification in respect of Client requirements, Building Regulations,
British & International standards.
We continue with our own research and development for products in the environmental sector in particular, we can also help you with your own product development. This includes initial review, help with up front marketing, proto-typing and production units, we can even advise on patent applications and design registration based on our own skill and experiences.
We can now utlise CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) via our partner Concept Flow. This enables us to simulate flows off all media at concept stage to make fully informed decisions prior to manufacture of proto types and to further improve existing product performances.
General - HiTech Engineering
Midas Technologies can provide bespoke sheet metal work and welded fabrications (small or large)
with machined elements if required together with mechanical and electrical equipment.
We can provide design and detailed drawings and 3D model’s for approval or we are happy to work
from your sketches or fully detailed specifications and engineering drawings.
When working on HiTech or stringent quality control
projects we are able to offer full Quality Assurance
documentation from design validation, materials test
certificates, Non Destructive Testing, weld procedure and
welder certification and final Certificates of Conformity...For more information see our PDF project sheet.
Manufacturing - (Fabrication - Machining - Welding - Assembly)

From a precision mouth organ to a Sky Café, here at Midas we can provide
world wide specialist bespoke manufacture in all metals, specialising in
stainless steel and other non ferrous metals. Combined with our capability
to include meshes, glass, acrylics, composites and joinery you can be
assured of seamless completion, saving cost and finished on time. Our
unique approach to any project, however large or small, will enthuse you.
We go to extra lengths to provide our clients with the highest level of service. Peterborough Photographic Society's Tony Lovell worked with us to develop a bespoke 914mm super telephoto lens. Fabricated from aluminium we provided our client with a specialist hood and barrel to house the 914mm lens.

Working with client’s we develop and manufacture special purpose
machinery and equipment, which requires mechanical and electrical control.
These projects are primarily in the engine manufacture, food, Water
pharmaceutical and other process industries, but our knowledge and
expertise can be applied in all sectors, even Architecture.

Throughout our procurement process we always consider the finishing
requirements that will enhance the finished product for looks and
performance. We therefore provide all types of finish to stainless steel
even colouring and our own developed metalastic™ finish. For steel,
galvanising, bright zinc and nickel plating, wet painting including MIO and
epoxy finishes, polyester powder coating for internal and external use,
natural lacquered and waxed.

If we can make it we can deliver it. Whether in one piece or sub sections
for final build on site. We take care of wide load organisation, police
escorts and local council requirements.
We also use Hi-Ab lorries which can crane in elements as soon as delivered
saving time and cost on local crane hire.

No matter how large or small we take great care with installation. This is
the final piece of the puzzle and we do not compromise. Careful planning,
attention to detail are all pre requisite to the completion of your project.
The installation picture here shows us installing the ¼ million pounds,
BBC media screen at Millenium Square in Leeds, to our designed and
manufactured wall mounting structure and maintenance platforms.
