The Sefton Hotel in Douglas on The Isle of Man has been under going significant
refurbishment. Part of this is to open a new bar called “Sir Norman’s” after
Norman Wisdom who lives on the island and uses the hotel as his local.
The Architects found us off the internet and we were nominated for designing,
supplying & fitting the new entrance canopy.
The canopy was formed from
stainless steel tubular sections,
developed conical water collectors,
lettering was lazer cut, full size
layout prior to cutting.
The canopy roof was made in
1 section with the 4 legs with
combined drainage
were bolt on.
We also asked to provide feature
lighting to the canopy, this we
designed using LED lights
strategically placed around the
canopy structure to enhance the
lettering, stainless steel and fabric.
Paving lights were also used to
high light the entrance steps.
