Scope | Design with client, mock up, manufacture and install entrance staircase, external spiral fire escapes, plant platforms and juliet balcony’s
The contemporary internal staircase was manufactured at our works and pre assembled with wedge type connections to timber treads and hidden fixings, stringers are stainless steel with our polished metalastic finish. To install the staircase elements in the entrance atrium we used a GGR specialist crane these we normally use for glass installations however access was restricted for this installation.
Attention to detail was paramount for the client so a close working relationship was essential to the success of the project. Utilising 3D solid modelling and mock ups the clients requirements were surpassed.
Stair stringers were water jet cut from 12mm thick stainless steel, handrail balusters were Pre-laser cut and fixed to the external wedge of the treads via a complex rebated hidden connection system. Landing balusters were secured with a first fix socket arrangement.
External works included 2 fire escape staircases. With integral
air conditioning plant platforms
and 3 juliet balcony’s.
Construction was from carbon steel and galvanised. With stainless steel handrail system, decking timbers were also supplied and installed
by us with discreet connections
to underside.
