267 new affordable homes are being built for Greenwich Wharf Ltd, part of the London and Regional development group in the prime SE10 postcode of Greenwich, London. We have developed our own aluminium extrusion for the top handrail to allow easy maintenance. We have also secured additional works which include privacy panels between balcony's.
The project is part of a wider development that will be known as Greenwich Wharf and will include private apartments including penthouses, a 100 guest room hotel, a landmark office building, retail units and a health club with swimming pool. Once complete, Greenwich Wharf will be one of the premier riverfront destinations in the London borough of Greenwich.
To meet the government’s renewable energy requirements, renewable energy systems are incorporated including ground source heat pumps to provide heating and hot water to all homes and the buildings will have a combination of ‘green’ and ‘brown’ roofs to attract local wildlife to the area.
